We didn't have much in Aquebogue, very brief hard downpours during the nite, & wind but not much more than a normal rain storm. We have a dry house this morning, & sections of roadway around town that normally have standing water after a storm are dry.

I know I saw it on TV last night ...but it sounds like you did better than a lot of other people ..Just saw another hurricane making its way up the east coast next week OMG

Ride home was a bit rough, but the town fared as there were no calls into the FD. On the way into work it was going good, till I got a flat on Northern Blvd ??. Like I had said earlier GCP by work was a complete mess. Westbound is still jammed.

Lost power for a couple of hrs, I was going to start the generator but it was 2:30 in the morning and thunder and lightning and pouring rain, naw I'm good lol, if it was still out when I woke up I would have hooked it up, I have 15kw generator, it runs my whole house, runs on propane, I have 3/40 lb tanks so I would have been good for a couple of days.
Pics of Milford Harbor, water running out of the Wepawaug river today.
