Interesting Day

So the fog in the last couple of days prevented me from hitting the ocean, so I decided to stick to the bay. I had some success last week plugging some back bay spots so I tried for an hour with no luck. The fog was still thick, so ocean was out of the question. I decided to hit up some local structure to see if I could pull up a few keeper blackfish. When I got to the area, I turned my head around and through the thick fog saw bass blitzing heavy on peanut bunker, literally flying out of the water. I made a couple casts with a shad but couldn't hook up so I switched back to my top water and bam i was getting nailed by 26-27" bass. The bite lasted for maybe 30 mins before they were gone. Back to blackfishing then, so I dropped down and had great life, mostly catching 13-15" blackfish, and ended up with 2 keepers in about an hour and a half before the bite died and i called it quits. All in all a pretty interesting day considering the conditions.
