Was just 80° in Matzohpizza, but that damn ocean breeze is hindering my kayaking ! Going to join SWMBO in the pool which is warmer than the air but its wet lol.

Warm while kayak fishing this morning but really have to ask if anyone noted an odd smell in the air early morning ? I thought while loading up the yak that a neighbor was doing the wacky weed but when I got to my put in site the stink was still there ( ? )

Skunk in the yak?

No. Two nice keepers and could have had a third. Grrrr. Both totally swallowed the leadhead jig with a 3” curlytail gulp. First time since 2005 when I stopped using bait that i gut hooked a fluke. Lucky they were over 19”. Had to cut open the stomach to get my homemade bucktail jig back ! The gulp looked like new!
