Went out yesterday to fish some intense structure, nailed some nice 14-15" porgies and was pleasantly surprised to catch a couple blackfish, one even being a keeper size fish, released of course. The earliest I've ever gotten them, but it makes sense that they'd be filtering in about now. Did a couple drifts for fluke and managed one keeper and a bunch of shorts. All in all a solid fishing day for this time of year.
