Jeopardy

we will see if the librarian is any good now. It did seem like he did not want to win all that badly though.

For someone who did an interview on how he could consistently buzz in first, how to time the red lights at the bottom of the board, she beat him on the buzzer fairly consistently. Methinks he didn't really want to beat Ken Jennings total winnings, so he threw the game.

My wife thinks the same thing. She did not like James at first but found herself rooting for him,

I enjoyed him but think they put the Kibosh on him since they seam to be invested in Ken Jennings and did not want to give that up.

in the late 40s after the Army my father ran pinball machines before they became illegal. I found a tackle box of washers when I was seven or eight after he died. the washers were for slowing the action down. hmmmm.

According to Optimum, GOAT is on at 8PM EST. Regular Jeopardy is on at 7PM. Looks like ABC is going to stick it up Mark Harmon's behind at 8PM. Hooray for DVRs...

Thanks for the head up - just figured that it was replacing the regular show. ?
I see the shows are an hour long, and it's a best of 3 so it appears no one is going to sweep.

The Format
The GOAT tournament, which begins Tuesday, will play out more or less like a best-of-seven sporting championship. Each evening will consist of two back-to-back games. The winner of the night’s aggregate two games receives a point; the first player to receive three points wins the tournament, meaning the event could last anywhere from three to seven nights. The tournament is getting prime placement: Instead of Jeopardy!’s usual block, GOAT will air during prime time (8 p.m. Eastern) on ABC.
