Made the long walk again at WE, out front to the ocean, because the fishing is better there than at Field 6. Managed a Short Fluke and a Blue, before the rain

Strong offshore wind, but the right lure made it work. Got my Fluke almost snap jigging my gulp minnow across the bottom, the Blue hit a Green deadly dick on a quick snap and then my line broke....time to leave

Trying a smoked Bluefish recipe - I'll let you know how it turns out

That’s probably a mile walk, and when you’re wearing waders in spring or fall it’s a long walk

wow ok, the expected long walk never was bothersome for me, including waders… the mosquitoes are the blood drainers… cellfish…

Funny - I measured it out on Google Maps...The walk for the path direct to the beach was about a 1/2 mile. If you take the path to the Jetty it's about 2/3 of a mile.

I don't care what yoou tell me - That is a long walk, plus up and down the beach...now imagine carrying a big fish back to the car

Used to fish the WE jetty back in the 80s. Walk sucked until I made a cart w/sand tires. It held my cooler, corkers, incidentals and 3rods. Made the walk easier especially when there were fish to bring back.

End of the night, always ended up dragging someone elses gear with mine. Lol
