Kissena park.

Today I went fishing at kissena park and I caught a largemouth bass and a carp. Carp on bread on the bottom. The bass on a crappie jig. I am having trouble uploading pictures on this site. I have a picture of the carp. Had to be between 8 to 10 lbs.

Today I went fishing at kissena park and it was awesome. Caught 2 pumpkinseed 3 largemouth bass and alot of bluegill. Was using worms and bread. I had to wait till the thunderstorms ended got a late start today and have to get there early to have a chance at carp. Got to the lake at 930 today. Ended at 230pm. Tight lines.

Had a great day at kissena park today caught 7 largemouth bass a pumpkinseed and alot of bluegill. All fish caught on worms.

Yesterday I went fishing at kissena park. Fishing was tough. I bought two poles one for carp and catfish and my small outfit for bluegill. I was using bread. Only turtles were hitting the bread while going for carp. On my small outfit I caught several bluegills using small hooks. I used to catch 10 or more catfish a trip using worms bread and I caught a catfish on a crankbait. This year I caught 4 catfish. Its one of two things either people are poaching or the Osprey are taking them. It’s only 1-2 feet of water most of the lake think the deepest in the middle is 4 or 5 ft. I know they fish at night and take out of the lake. The water was brown and it has algae blooms in it. Might have to find another lake hopefully that lake I try isn’t poached

Is Prospect Park in Brooklyn a possibility for you ? Granted its been years but had heard it had a fishery worth trying.

Its far and the neighborhood is not the best.

Was thinking of crocheron park but it's rat infested and poison ivy is everywhere or oakland lake but it's unfishable with the pads. I might go to bowne park.

Yesterday I went fishing at kissena park and the fishing was good. I caught my pb bluegill caught all bluegill on bread. I did see carp but they didn't bite at all think the water is to warm. Going today around 9am

One bluegill today. I saw 2 carp but they didn't take the bread they saw me and ran.

Great day at kissena park today. Had a Carp a largemouth bass and 50 plus bluegill. All fish caught on bread.
