Another great day of fishing at kissena park today. Caught five Bullhead catfish and 20 sunnies. I was using bread I had a huge fish but it took me into debris on the bottom and I lost it. Was in one spot all day didn't move. Might go back to kissena on Monday see if I have anything planned. Tight lines

I never saw it. Could of been a snapping turtle.

Yesterday I went fishing at kissena park and it was ok. I caught over 20 bass but they were an inch or smaller. They were all over the place. I also had a couple of small bluegill. All on worms. I tried bread for carp and catfish but no luck. The water was disgusting. There isn't much circulation in the lake. The lake water must be near 80 or higher with this heat. I am going to stop fishing kissena park for awhile and concentrate on salt water fishing. I'm going to try the bridge near citifield soon.

Today I fished at kissena park and it was amazing. I caught 30 bluegill and a 10 lb carp. All fish caught on bread. And all fish caught on my st Croix what a great fight on very light tackle.

I usually fish a spot until the turtles take over then I leave.

Today I went fishing at kissena park and if this makes any sense I had a great day and a terrible day. First The good I had 2 carp 2 catfish and a small bass caught the bass and catfish on worms and the carp on bread . Was using light tackle and 6 lb test. Now the bad part. I had a huge largemouth bass on the line. Biggest I have ever seen was fighting it and it jumped out of the water and I lost it. Was right in front of Me. Was definitely over 5 lbs. I had a huge carp on the line and it took me into a tree I had to tighten the drag to get it out I forget to losen the drag and the line snapped. I managed to get it out of the snag. That was heartbreaking. Not sure when I am going again with rain in the forecast next several days. Tight lines.

Went again today did good for a quick 2 hour session caught a Carp and 2 catfish on bread. Also dropped several fish. Probably the small bass or sunnies.

Today I went fishing at kissena park and I did well but it was a struggle. I caught a carp 2 bass 3 sunnies and I think it's a koi. All fish caught on worms. Fished from 945 till 230. Next trip Tuesday. Might Try bowne park.
