I'm looking at a 1.2 acre lot with a Boat House, it's listed for 68000 Kroner - about $6500 US Dollars. Right on a Fjord with Saltwater fishing !!! A Buyer could convert it into a summer Cabin. Me and my brothers are inheriting 40 acres right near the North Sea in the Village of Rasvag on the Island of Hidra which is almost at the tip of southern Norway. It was my Grandmothers Ancestral Land. Thought the land would be so valuable and then I saw how cheap the land is there. The Norwegian lawyer handling our land transfer met us in Manhatten the other day, She and her sons spoke almost perfect English. There wouldn't be a language problem if you lived there. But it's so expensive to live there, that's the only downside. The fishing Gods are looking down at me , what a great place to go fishing. Maybe I'll buy a nearby Boathouse property and it'll be almost heaven. 5 million people in a country that's bigger in land area than Germany.
