Frank Sr called me at about 8.45 the morning and said it looks nice out. I know looking at the report it was supposed to blow this afternoon. So we decided to go our friend Chuck jumped on. We left the dock at about 10.30. We had lines in the water at 11.30. North east wind not so bad. We had instant life and it was game on. After a little while the wind switched to an east wind followed by a south east that started to crank up. At this point we are 2 hours into fishing. But now we are rocking and rolling to the point the sinker’s were coming off the bottom, and the bite had slowed but still chewing at 2 o’clock we made the call to head back. We did very good putting 7 keeper blackfish between 16” and 19.5 in the boat along with 2 keeper sea bass. Best two and half hours of fishing you can ask for.
