Went out for Bass today Thursday 11/20 because it was flat calm except in the inlet where there were rollers you were always looking over your shoulder at.Big fleet of boats chasing birds , a lot of wakes, rocking back and forth. Saw a fish here and there caught , didn't look too big . Pain in the ass moving all the time , cast my diamond jig for hours not one hit. Obviously with the birds they were feeding on sand eels .Fleet was just outside the inlet . So tiring trailering a boat by yourself and rocking all day in a Panga. Saw another Panga out there. When I saw guys coming back early on the way out I just knew the good bite was really early.I'm not Superman anymore at 61 almost 62. Maybe I should get a Mate !!! At least my Outboard ran good this season and no problems and made my first trip out to Peconic Bay. My last trip of the season and now I can rest. Hope everyone had a good and safe season .
