We all have that one lure that we love to hate. The one that we cannot entice a fish to take even if our lives depended on it.

The bane of my existence is the needle fish. I just cannot figure the thing out. ?

What is your least favorite lure?

I was being kind as it seems $15 as the average price for larger bass lures nowadays. I only buy one or two of these said lures and tell you the truth, I've yet to really catch anything of note with them. My $7 Striper Strikes still rule the waves of Midcoast Maine!!

Darters wherever i would fish a darter i have more confidence with a bucktail .confidence wins

Despite their effectiveness, I never really fished a darter much. I always fish a bottle plug in it's place. I like SS bottles and for a larger profile, the Gibbs bottle plug.

A lot of people don't like needlefish. They are the ultimate do-nothing plug. But they can be very effective in certain situations. SS needles sink so they can be used deeper than many other plugs. Floating needles, if worked properly, can produce some great top-water strikes in the back bays. They're one of my top 5 profiles.
