I’d like to see another bird of prey attacking and killing the cormorants while humans oil all the remaining eggs.would much rather see ospreys with a few fish than a "locust plague" of cormorants eliminating everything.
We have a huge owl here in Commack. I hear it everyday and I've seen it twice. It has like a 5' wingspan.Thanks for posting that George. I watched one for a couple years. It was at the Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge out in Shirley. It was cool hearing the owls at night when you tuned in. I think it was funded by the Post Morrow Foundation.
