Local Knowledge - Bluefin Tuna Episode

Hey Guys,
Wasn't sure exactly the best place to post this but figured here was appropriate since it's about Tuna Fishing. I can move it as well .


I shot an episode of Local Knowledge last month where we did a super early season Hail Mary Bluefin Tuna trip out here in San Diego.

We had to drop down to 30lb fluro and size 2 ... yes size 2 not 2/0 hooks just to get a bite. Still blows my mind I fish with porgy gear to tuna fish here.

Episode airs this Sunday at 7 AM On Discovery Channel. The first and last segment are the ones that I'm in, the middle is Rush fishing permit in Florida.

That is the best saltwater show on TV. I know Ali well and he works hard it. Great guy, great show and congrats.

Thanks George. Ali is the best. The one guy I really hit it off with when I first moved out here 10 years ago. We've been fishing together since then and done some crazy things. He speaks highly of you as well.
