Hello everyone, new to the forum,
Anyone fishing the sound this year any good action I drop out of mt Sinai porgies have been good lots of short fluke, when’s the best time for stripes and blues and big fluke

Fall is best for stripers and blues. The last few falls have been a challenge to say the least.

Fluke is usually good early-except this year. It never really got going at all.

You could try for fluke now but is mostly shorts.

Crazy times, I’m prone to north shore living in my Sinai is convienent but any reports heading out of shinnecock or smiths point ramps ?

poorrichard covered it. Big fish follow the big bait. So for fluke, find squid and you will find bigger fluke, usually went he season opens in May. As poorricjard mentioned, the fluke never seem to take hold. I think the squid must of passed us by.

Do you have a boat? Try Old Field or Middle Grounds.
