Evidently nothing on them. I don't have the confidence surfcasting that I do kayakfishing but nothing hit my tins, plug, rubber shad or bucktail. Couple of line bumps from all the large bunker frollicking between 10 and 100 yards out in gentle, 2-3 foot, last of the incoming, weedless, sweepless surf. People kept coming up to me to say they saw fish jumping "back there" etc.
After a while I would just say look straight out for a few seconds. they left probably thinking I was helpless as a pescante, although with a north wind they saw nice casting, lol.

The last 2 weeks the blues and ocasional bass have been taking their toll on the bunker off Gulf Beach Milford ct. I have been fishing from the beach the last 2 weeks, big blues and 1 slot bass all released, with the weather and wind I haven't been out on the boat in about a month.
