Minneapolis, St.Paul.

BUT the State Attorney General says you shouldn't pull them over - we've become a running joke here...

Brooklyn lawmakers have proposed a bill the increase fines for those motorists that drive through city streets with obnoxiously loud mufflers and exhaust systems.

The bill presented by state Sen. Andrew Gounardes and City Councilman Justin Brannan, who represent parts of Bay Ridge, would ensure that officers can measure decibels levels.

The measure dubbed the Stop Loud and Excessive Exhaust Pollution, or SLEEP, Act was created for neighbors who say a recent surge in drag racing and revving engines doesn't let them get a good night’s sleep.

"Our legislation will curtail this anti-social and dangerous behavior and let neighbors get some sleep once and for all," Gounardes told the Daily News. "Times are stressful and the last thing families need when trying to get some hard-earned sleep is outrageously loud gratuitous noise keeping them up all night."
Again, they want cake and eat it too. Not happening.

Feds bust alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer

Which side is law and order again?

Funny how both sides reject government overreach, but this one gets your attention.

Fortunately, the law is still working, at least for now. The courts have rejected her emergency powers pretty hard. Too bad these clucks didn't back off as soon as that verdict was handed down.
