Half the team made it to Jamaica Bay for some striper action. "Pistol" Pete Kelly was the high hook with bass up to 34 inches. He had what they wanted, sand worms up in The Patch. I trolled up some smaller bass on deep-swimming lures and got two on a yellow popper when we were in the skinny water. We caught about 20 bass between us over the two days, and had a blast doing it.
