Out with nephews again today.. Ran out at dawn S & E of VZ Bridge.
A little slow on incoming tide but it improved as outgoing began.
Jigged with 007's for @ 25-30 - 2-4 lb blues plus some nice porgies..
Bled out a few and took them home for more fish tacos.
PSA Note: We stopped to picked up 10 mylar balloons floating around out there today. (6 last Friday)
Marine mammals and other ocean creatures (sea turtles, sharks, Ocean sunfish, etc.) mistake these balloons for food.
They swallow them and they usually die of starvation.
Consider this next time you release these balloons.
