Went striper fishing again on The bridge I didn't catch anything but I did have a fish on and i saw it. Was close to being a keeper but it spit The hook. People are actually keeping fish out of that toxic water it's disgusting

It sure isn't 20" like I believe you're thinking. It's a slot of 28-31". If the people there are keeping shorts you should have the DEC report line phone number on your cell and call them!!

Fished two hours and was fishing on The bridge nothing not a touch no life nothing plus I couldn't cast far the wind was in my face so on the other side I tried and there was alot of life and immediately caught this bass had to be over 20 inches. What a fight. Then I made a few more casts and called it a day.

Direct approach didn't work. Maybe this will.
It's a shame because those small fish are most fragile and need to be handled as such.
If the fish are >20" catching them is not worth the effort.
