There are now lots of choices in quality 8-thread braids and I do not yet know how this line compares to the "Big 3" of my choice, those being Sufix 832, Diawa J-Braid 8, and Berkley X-9. All of those are proven, and all greatly over-test their "rated" strength.
I have yet to see a breaking strength test to line diameter test of this line, when I do, I'll post it for reference. This being called a "Finesse Braid" sounds like its aimed at the very light tackle FW crowd, not us, but can't say for sure right now.
