Nice Day For A Boat Ride

Had a chance to get out yesterday & decided to look for Sea Bass outside of Mattituck Inlet. W/S/W against the flood tide didn’t make for ideal conditions, but not bad. Headed for some reliable ground I always fish at the start of Sea Bass season & do very well, although I have never fished it this late into the season. Three hours & a few moves produced three Sea Bass, the largest not quite as big as my hand. That was it for the morning, not much life & no other boats in the area. Water temp in mid sound yesterday 73deg when I fished it in June water temp 66. Nice day to get out for a boat ride.

you're lucky you fish on the North Shore , today, Sat. ,Sun until Thursday it's going to be a blowout on the South Shore with small craft warnings.
