Had some engine work done on the boat in the off season (risers, manifolds, spark plugs/wires, and on). Saturday was my first opportunity to get out and test it. Took the wife for a ride from the dock to the ER buoy and back. Everything worked great and as expected.
Sunday my son and I went fluking in Reynolds Channel. He's been wanting to get back into it after taking some years off. Beautiful weather. Wind and tide was pushing us at nearly 2 knots though. Picked up a handful of short fish, including a sundial and a lean 18-3/4" fluke near the Cedarhurst Yacht Club. Back to the dock without issue, then on to a nice lunch at the Lazy Lobster in E Rock.
