Nice weather we're having

What fish will be impacted by this?? What should we expect in the spring??

I remember someone told me spearing or sand eels like really cold weather.

I gotta agree the weather has been unusually nice as far as the spearing/sand ells I wish I could help

I still think fish migrations, hatching etc. are as much a product of sun and moon, length of day, etc. Sort of like the deer rut. Its timing seems minimally effected by September/October temps. That said, the warmer temps in the NE, climate change in general, will tend to have typically warm water fish move a bit northward.

I know early season back bay bass and fluke fishing in the back bay drops is always good for me, does anyone feel the warm temp and water temp hurts that in anyway. I feel the warmer the air temp and water temps moves the bait through faster and the fish move also? Any thoughts on this
