Happy for Alfonso. He's had an off year. The home run is redemption for him.

My guess is the world will be rooting for the Mets to beat the Phillies.

Pete Alonzo’s the best first baseman in MLB.
His defense made up for his slumping bat and last night’s performance at the plate in the 9th makes him again the best step up player of the year.

Amazing, they shut them down nicely. The commentators on Fox 5 are so annoying. Rooting openly for Phillies and keep telling us what the Mets can’t do….while they are doing it. Crazy.

Fox Sports had Ron Darling doing the Yankee/KC broadcast. Would it have killed them to have him do “our” game? Who knows the Mets better? He’s not a “homer” and pretty fair. But nope, we get Wainwright instead. What Mets fan wants to listen to THAT guy?

The great broadcast team spent most of the game talking up the Phillies. The Mets were busy scoring 5 runs and they were re-running Schwarber’s HR instead. Idiots.
