The most unexpected season ever!

We are not that far off from being a consistently good team. Hopefully some issues will be upgraded in the off season. Need defensive improvement.

As for Alonso..... guy showed ALOT of heart in the playoffs after a subpar season. He's perfect for this city and team.I'd like him to stay.

Changes are definitely coming. Not a ton of needs that can't be addressed internally. The farm has some serious talent to draw from.

Acuna will play second next season. McNeal to the LF. Vientos and Mauricio will split time 3rd base/DH. Jet Williams a mid-season call-up. Three pitchers on the farm almost ready to come up and contribute- Vasil, Sproat, and Tidwell. One of them recovering from some kind of arm problem, so maybe only two.

I think they resign Pete after his postseason heroics. If not then Ryan Clifford (AA+) should get the call-up. Serious power, good glove at 1st. They'll make a BIG play for Soto, but I think he stays in the Bronx.

Agree all around.....my guess is if Soto wins a chip this year, he goes for the money.

I knew this day would come. No longer will Met fans care about how much money their team is spending. This is what it takes to win.

The Yankees have some huge holes to fill. I hope the Mets don't sign them all!

All kidding aside, the Mets have signed one special player there. He brings everything you want in a player and leader.
