Mets Nets Jets. a trend here ?

I often thought more Met Fans were Jet fans and more Yankee fans were Giant Fans because those 2 football teams played in those 2 stadiums with the Mets and Yankees. Am I right ?
Haven't been a baseball fan since Covid 19 , salaries have gotten out of hand. I'll go to a Chinese Buffet and watch the 1979 Mets play the Cubs at Wrigley field when I get home and not have to deal with traffic after the game. $40 to park at Citifield ?? I remember 1979 it cost $1.50 to sit in the upper deck at Shea and see a doubleheader.

Yankees/Giants here. Probably more due to parental influence. And, yes, agreed that parking fees feel very heavy. From recent experience, it’s $40 PLUS TAX!!!

Also has a little to do with age and loyalty. Mets and Jets did not exist when I was a kid. When the NL Giants and Dodgers left the Mets eventually filled the void. Despite bumping into JoeWillie at Hofstra I don’t recall where they played, Shea ? Only watch them when Giants aren't on simultaneously. I did see a couple of Giants games at Yankee Stadium.
