I have been posting reports here and there when I can get out either in the surf, or more often fishing on my BIL 17 foot skiff he picked up earlier in the season. It has been a lot of fun getting back out there in a small boat and being able to explore some skinny spots and finding deeper water holding fish inside of the skinny water. We recently started talking about a few spots as the season moves along and the water is warming with each passing tide.
I was supposed to get out of work early today to fish, but as work had it, there was no way I could pull it off. So, my BIL took his friend out instead and fished in the area that we discussed. Well, as I was driving home I get that text and the picture that says it all. At that point they did not have a scale on the boat to weigh it, but said it was 32 inches long.
Congratulations Tommy on a beautiful fish caught in the bay. All 32 inches and 12.3 lbs!
And Coop............you have been putting folks on some really nice fish lately!
