Just booked a Tuna trip for August. I've only ever fished for Tuna down in Key West (Blackfin Tuna) and we used live Pilchard down there. Looking forward to this trip!

I ran a shark tournament for many years on the old Noreast Offshore Forum. IIRC Greg won that a few times.

Probably 90% of the tuna up here are much larger then their southern relative the Blackfin tuna.

This is who we use for fishing. We land Friday afternoon and shoot out for half day of Tuna then Saturday and Sunday are Full Days and Monday afternoon we fly back home.

That just brought back a memory. I was entered in the big dog tourny. geez 19 years ago... was fishing on the Canyon Runner though at some point during that week, and we caught a mako. Listen to what I say to Capt Mark...and his reply about who would prob win the Big dog...
