Peconic Weakfish

Giot out a little later than I wanted to this morning for a shot at the weakfish in the peconic. Went to my first go to spot, & saw lots of life on the machine, all weakfish.
The fish were very responsive to a diamond jig. Kept one for the table, & put numerous fish back up to about 23". As always tide over, fish gone. By then it started to get hot & I was back on the trailer by 9, cleaned up & in the A/C by 10:15. An early productive morning.

With the poor showing of Fluke there is no doubt the solid Weakfish bite in the Peconics has saved our bacon this spring!
