Pizza time everything pizza

got mine at Walmart - pretty much where I get 90% of my stuff - no other place to go unless I wanna take a long drive
 
I have one but never attempted to use it.

Wife makes hers on a large cookie sheet.

She just said that I bought it and said I was going to make one on the round pan with the holes.
Guess I should try that.

the holes in the pan allow the crust on the bottom to bake properly by allowing the heat to flow up & through the pan rather then heating the pan itself to bake the crust which does always work imo
 
I just use two "off the rack" sauces. Either Bertolli Marinara Sauce or Don Pepimo Pizza Sauce (you can usually find that in the Sons of Italy section in the supermarket.
Making a pie can be complicated enough without having to make the sauce as well. Especially as the difference between homemade sauce vs. off the rack sauce may not really be noticable.

I'm into easy provided it doesn't compromise taste.

These two sauces work well in that regard. After all - pizza does fall into the category of fast food - so why make it extra lengthy?

Just my 2 cents.

I only use fresh when I don't want to cover the top of the whole pie with cheese. Like the pie I made above. I don't know if you can buy fresh shredded Mozzarella. I don't recall seeing it.


But it fresh and shred it??
 
check your local bakery - so of them :stock" pizza dough. Of course you can make it - but then it goes back to the post I made about the sauce. Extra work. Also check with your favorite local pizzeria. Many are willing to sell you their dough.

I usually pick up a 1/2 dozen things of frozen pizza dough from the Kings Park Bakery when I'm in town.

Right after I pick up 2 dozen Everything Twists from Kings Park Bagel on my way back to VA.

Yeah. Maybe 3 things. It's getting those 3 things to work right.
There's a lot of things that have to come together correctly.

Have you ever tried to make a pie other than english muffin pizzas?
