I actually remember a world before plastics were everywhere. Maybe before it was invented ?? In the 40's we had none. The closest thing was a new black stuff that our new radio was made of. Bakelite. Neatest thing since Wood was invented. Until it got pulled of the shelf and hit the floor. in a gazillion pieces.

What kind of idiot would think it was ok to eat something out of the microwave that had been heated in plastic?

Years ago one of my top guys at work was heating up some chinese food in the plastic containers they come in with the covers… i asked what the heck are you doing, dont eat that and he said…” no this is different type of plastic” i told him believe what you want but if you eat that often you will become sick.

I told him to throw it out and took him out to lunch, he probably still does it.
