Porgies

Fish by Floyd Bennett today had 20 nice porgies between 12-16 in. In about 1 1/2 hour of fishing. Also had 6 short weaks.. Tried for fluke in the AM about a dozen shorts in the back bays.

Nice.
I love porgies!
They are my go to fish for the smoker these days
They also make great fried fish sandwiches and taco's.
I'm amazed by how many people overlook them and dont target them...
