Fished the afternoon tide change in the Port Jeff area today. There were about a dozen trailers in the parking lot. Port Jeff car traffic was standing still. it was homecoming day.
There were cars in the ramp lot without trailers. Did not seem like anyone was getting ticketed for parking without a trailer.
Seas were a bit lumpy until the tide changed. Finally got an anchor to hold and started fishing.
Lots of small black fish on the green crabs. There were also some extra large porgies hitting the crabs. too.
Ended up with a large sea bass and some porgies. All the black fish were returned to grow up.
Stopped and jigged B11 on the way home. Three boats jigging the bottom. One boat said they had a couple of bass and blues.
No fish for me and the other boat.
Water is still very warm. Fishing should improve when the water temperature drops a little bit more.
