I live in Greenlawn. Today is the funeral for the NYPD Officer Tsakos who was slain last week. about 1/2 mile down the road.

Our street is packed with NYPD cars, trucks and busses and private cars. Even the Harley Motorcycle riders are parked on our street. Myself and my neighbors went outside this morning and greeted the officers as they drove and walked down the road, and we all offered up our driveways and front lawns for them park their vehicles. Very least we could do.

Our district went remote today for all the kids. These pics are from the news12 chopper......a sea of blue for a good 1/2 mile on Pulaski road. all the parking lots for the elementary school, high school and shopping center parking lot full.
