Remember him ? Every time I drove Upstate on Route 17 up to the Catskills and Central NY, my father would mention him nearly every time as we drove past Roscoe, NY . Defalco had a restaurant or hotel there.
Lived in Baldwin, he was so famous as a hunter/butcher, that Sports Illustrated wrote an article about him. Imagine that! He had hunting seminars all over , worked as a butcher and later became an Executive with the Old Times Square Stores on Long Island. Of course he was in charge of the hunting and fishing division. Was so famous, he had Willie Mays, Joe Namath and many others on hunting trips with him. They don't make guys like that anymore ! Looks so familiar , no doubt I crossed paths with him someplace. Read his obituary at Park Funeral Home in Garden City.

A fixture onscreen and onstage, he became a fan favorite as Darth Vader’s ally, Admiral Piett, in “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.”
