going to Rehoboth Beach 8/20/22 and am not familiar with the area at all....I would appreciate any recommendations , advice , info about fishing there...what’s running this time of year there? Fluke, porgies, how about even any blackfish? From the shore?, any names of good party boats and/or charter boats....also I’ll be with my 3 granddaughters (aged 8, 6 and 4)....porgies down there? Any and all info would be really appreciated. thank you.

Looks much like any town along Jersey shore…

Chamber of commerce sent us info, call tomorrow as it may not get back in time… there’s is a chamber of Commerce outpost there…

Garden state parkway to a cape May, schedule ticket for ferry may be more enjoyable than going from NJ turnpike…

Beach fishing should be the same as ours, better chance of Black Drums… any WESTERLY WIND will keep the water flat.. yuck ?

Apply online for free fishing permit… even though they aren’t going to arrest ya… nor fine …

Crabs ? are the thing there,

bring a small BBQ for the state parks…

Walmart and all the rest nearby…

That is a GREAT idea Cell!! My granddaughters, close in age to yours @mudman , just love catching green crabs. The first thing out of their mouths when they arrive from the Midwest is, "PopPop, can we go to the dock for crabs???" The better part of your adventure is that they'll be able to catch a great dinner!!
