Pequa1,Chinacat and Capt MIke28 were very persuasive correctly and I said yes everyone should pay. no exemptions.
After listening to your PODCAST about the saltwater TAX and u made many very compelling points and arguments and I no longer could support the saltwater tax either. Especially recreational anglers vs recreation only boaters and kayakers at launch ramps useage. Fairness on lack of enforcement on the commercial sector. I have been invited over the years to pin hook on 3 or 4 commercial boats specializing in fluke, blackfish and striped bass.U are 110% correct in the miniscule chance they get busted. On the rare times it happens, it is part of the cost of doing business. I know what goes on there first hand. So I have always declined. No thank you.
please see attached. Even though Albany has one party rule, how has it changed since 2010? I assume those 7 Long Island towns could still assert their sovereign fishing
rights on their coastal waters? I am not a lawyer , but if nothing else at least those7 LI towns could tell Albany where to go, no? Just asking.I hope all 7 of those towns fight hard as hell again. Otherwise I agree with u that we don't have a prayer.
