Seekeeper Ride

For vessels 23’ - 30’ total retrofit installation would run approximately $31,000

New boat manufacturers are increasingly including, primarily as an option, Seakeeper.

Here is a a guide to approximate costs relative to vessel size.

Matt, I think the $31K number is for the Seakeeper gyroscope system, not the Seakeeper Ride, electronic trim tabs. 2 different products but I will investigate further.

Captain Mike, correct, my bed, the $31k is for for Seakeeper, not the SeaKeeper Ride. Same company, 2 different products .
Just looked at the link Longcast put up, and it seems that for our sized boat the Seakeeper Ride would run between $12-15K.
As nice and effective as it sounds, for that kind of money I would sooner add a Trolling motor with spot lock and keep exercising my fingers on the trim tab buttons!

If i had to choose between the SK Ride or a trolling motor, the spot lock wins every time, especially for our area.
If I was an offshore/trolling guy, running 30+ miles a trip, then the SK is more desirable, but to bottom fish or drift, that spot lock trolling motor makes everything so much easier and more precise. It is the game changer everyone claims it to be.

I just started a thread in the Offshore about Spot Locks and looking for some advice, recommendations, etc.
