Had the day off I knew the weather wasn’t gonna be great frank sr and I stood around thinking of a plan, weather man said north east winds so idea was get on a wreck on the Connecticut side maybe not so much wind so we made are our over only to see half wind was more east then north but we got over on the spot and even on a 30ft Grady we were rocking and rolling hung in there for a little while in hopes of some sea bass just a few porgies were there, we both agreed time to go made our way back to the Long Island side found a little shelter but only super small sea bass 3” 5” inches tops the hooks were bigger then them and a few tiny porgies made another move knowing we were gonna be in the wind again we were closer to home Had a few last year sea bass some bigger porgies kept the bigger guys for smoker. Also had one blowfish one kingfish, one mackerel two small blackfish and finally called it a day, that’s it till blackfish season for me gonna be blowing the next few days anyway.
