My dad's birthday is February 18. So as a kid, every February 18th we went fishing. It was his choice. Not the best time of year but we always ended up at the shinnecock canal. Circa 1980.

One year, in the snow, we caught 6 fish!

Memory is still vivid as if we went yesterday.
