Slot fish

Headed out with the mind set on trolling for bass, then go fluke fishing, joined the fleet of boats trolling and some chunking didn’t see much going we agreed make one more bass and it paid off a nice 32” slot fish made another pass or two for no other takers so off to fluke fishing we picked away at plenty of shorts and all the sea robins you could want, got 2 keeper fluke and finally called it a day. The rods were bending all day with either a short or a robin beautiful day on the water. Next trip probably Monday

Great report And nice slot fish Hunter! We saw the same thing to the east. I did hear of some big bluefish in your area from a reliable source. Did you see any? I haven't seen a single bluefish mid sound yet.

Had a 10/12 pounder Friday evening trolling and another one about the same size Wednesday evening I was trolling a rubber shad rig today and had a quick smack one of my tails were missing, definitely a bluefish hit
