Late report from Saturday. Light NNW wind and outgoing when we left the dock at 7am. Fueled up and headed south out of the inlet. Made a quick stop in 65' of water where we had some fish the week prior. Not much there, a couple of small seabass, 2 sandsharks, and that was it. Didn't waste much time and continued south to our desired location. First drift yielded 3 shorts and a nice 22" keeper. All the fish were on the teaser. Dropped 2 nice fish on the next 2 drifts and landed a few more shorts. The action was a very slow pick and we ended the day with 3 keepers to 4# and maybe a dozen to 15 shorts with a few seabass in the mix. Beautiful day on the water with my good friend Danny.
