Snappers ?

Haven't fished or paddled since late June when I had my last 3 "original" teeth and a nine unit bridge taken out, while still missing two other teeth on the upper jaw. That was followed four days later with the "dreaded dry socket." (If you have experienced one, you know.) Finally got to swim some slow laps for the first time yesterday. Anyway, I am thinking that I might feel up to some kayak exercise Sunday or Monday and asking whether anyone has seen evidence of "catchable" snappers for livelining. (SE Nassau)

thanks. supposedly someone caught two at the dock near one of my put ins. will start taking along a second rod, a MH 7' Cabelas intraline for livelining and replace my Lep rig with a snapper rig next time out. Life has gotten in the way the last couple of days, maybe the coming weekend.

Good luck. Hope you feel better

Check with local fishing forums or bait shops in SE Nassau for the latest reports.
some of them won't be honest, it cuts into their selling bait ! They wouldn't even speak to me if they knew I haven't bought bait since 2005 when I started kayak fishing and hardly using the stinkboat, and only using Gulp! since ! Word of mouth works best when it comes to what is in.

Just go out and give it a shot! I'm still a hostage. Wish I could walk out each morning and "give it a shot" and not worry about anything else.
