Beautiful morning, light snow and a couple of duck hunters making their way in. They had birds the morning moving around in the snow

After two funerals and our first time with the China virus, have put off all surfcasting and deer hunting since second week of November, but hopefully back at it after Bambi right after new year. Been a while since I saw tracks in the snow and hope to again. Its the crunchies afterward that I hate since I don't climb trees.

I have January 10th at Hubbards county park

Good luck ! I didn't show up for the drawings and being in Nassau we are stuck with the city types on state lands. (Last time it was maybe 200 yds from me and a loud , " Hey Luigi, just seen one you way, fuhgeddaboudit.") God only knows which parking spot he came in from. They are not that close together where we were. This year my number wasn't the greatest and my buddy and I have begun to realize that the drag back to the parking spot is just too much for us now. We total well over 150 years of aging LOL. Sure we could get a cart, etc., etc. but will just stick to our nuisance permit until we are no longer on the right side of the grass. November 9 I was able to park my truck within 50 yards of where I downed my buck. Hard to beat that. Merry Christmas to all !
