Live at Amoeba Records (2007) - MACCA

so - just imagine you're in your favorite record store (yes they still exist) browsing around for something to take home & Paul McCartney shows up to do a free concert - well that's what happened in 2007 - just picked up this disc & it's GREAT!!!!

Brought the sons to experience metalcore. For four hours I watched the pit dieing to jump in (kids would have no part of the pit so I sat idle)
Three bands total. Cro-mags, Clutch, Killswitch Engage. Knowing all three but not seeing Cro since CBGBs’. Their hardcore punk was before it’s time. Their time is now. Last night they shined. They made a young rap idol a new follower (Thank God). Hope they don’t disappear downtown again as they did all these years.

in the car on the way back from Richmond this afternoon:

The Dirty Boogie - The Brian Setzer Orchestra

Love this disc - fun to listen to & he's a hell of a guitar player............

Everybody Knows - Stephen Stills & Judy Collins

Worst kept 'secret affair' in Rock n Roll history - terrific disc

44/876 - Sting & Shaggy

Sting collaborates with Jamaican Reggae artist Shabby - makes for some interesting listening
