The best of the Eagles right now. Gonna switch to Humble pie in a minute. If any of you guys like Stevie Ray Vaughn or Kenny Wayne Shepherd, check out Gary Clarke Jr. Just got turned on to him and he's really good.

Spinning Zebra "No Tellin Lies" and Supertramp "Breakfast in America".

is that a Dual Turntable?

Uh, Technics? I bought it around 1981-82. It was in a box for about 15 years, all it needed was a new drive belt.
Dual made some good turntables back in the day, I think they recently restarted production.

Of the Moment - Sam Brown

New Release by Sam. Some of you may be familiar with her if you've watched the Concert for George - she performed Horse to the Water.

Picked this disc up while I was at El Cheapos Used CD Emporium. Darn good - $4.99 price tag

Vinyl has a very different audio quality, it took me a while to stage my new Rolling Stones album lol.

Glad to hear she's singing again. She had problems with her vocal chords.

Unfortunately Horse To The Water is not on the Concert for George album. And YouTube doesn't carry the video anymore, just the audio.

yeah - I never understood why it never made the album release - great cover - weird part is it was on the original broadcast of the event on TV

hmmmmmmmmmmm....

Seems it is available somewhere - I need to go looking:
In 2005, the Concert for George DVD won the Best Long Form Video Grammy. Directed by David Leland, it contains material not found on the album, including "Sit on My Face" and "The Lumberjack Song" by Monty Python, and "Horse to the Water", featuring Jools Holland with vocals by Sam Brown, daughter of English singer Joe Brown.

iTunes released Concert for George in 2008 with "Horse to the Water" added to the album. iTunes incorrectly attributes McCartney as a main performer on "Your Eyes". McCartney does not play on the track.

In 2018, Concert for George was released on 180-gram vinyl LP records, in several packages and formats, to celebrate Harrison's 75th birthday.

From Wikipedia...

some better audio than CDS - definitely light years ahead of the quality you get from streaming or MP3's

Shame they can get "crackly" even with proper care

Mostly static, it can be cured. I have the 180 gram version of The Wall, it's fantastic how noiseless it is during the many quiet passages.

how do you cure it?

Because I've got about 7 boxes of vinyl I'd love to play once I can figure out where to put a turntable which I'd have to buy.
