Seven Palms - Paul Simon

Simon's newest & hopefully not his last offering. Very reflective. Seven songs that weave together while he reflects on where he is in life & how little of it maybe left. It's haunting. Seven selections meant to be listened to from beginning to the end. A 33 minute journey. It plays as 1 track.

I haven't really heard anything this solmen, joyous, self studied since 2009's If On a Winter's Night by Sting. Where he reflected on winter after being inspired by a Robert Louis Stevenson poem Chritmas at Sea (which he put to music on that disc).

I'm still trying to absorb what I just heard. It struck home several times as a lot of it is stuff I've been thinking about lately as I work my way into my 70's. I will tell you that there is some spirituality to all of it.
