Was watching How the Grinch stole Christmas with Jim Carey and Cindy Lou Who was played by Taylor Momsen...dang shes all growed up now!!

The wife leaves the husband and two kids behind.
She moves in with a guy who's dating another women.
The guy ends up having a kid with the women that
moved in and the other women he's dating. The kids are
born about two to three weeks apart. Is it the adults
that are now confused or is it the kids?
