Wasn’t supposed to be the greatest weather today. Just can’t catch a weather break with Capt. Mike as we didn’t get out today. My buddy Frank said let’s try to get out so we met at his boat at 6.30. Light winds and light rain. We made it to our spot and had slack water. As soon as we had a little running water set anchor. The little guys were chewing. Finally I boat a keeper and then a second and third keeper, then the little guys came back on strong. We fished pretty much most of the tide and picked away. We came home with 7 keepers we released 2 keepers at 16” hoping for something bigger. But it didn’t happen, on a day that was supposed to be nasty 9 keepers is a good day. Wanted that two man limit but I am happy with our catch and the two keepers we released will fight another day. Our keepers ranged from 16.5 to 19”
